A standard open shoot consists of 96 clays shot from 12 stands or 100 clays shot from 10 stands. The standard charge for this is £35 but please check the What's On page for prices as we sometimes host different events.
No – you can only use fibre wad cartridges on our ground. No game cartridges are permitted. Please bring clay cartridges with a maximum load of 28g. We normally have cartridges for sale if required.
The shooting ground is situated next to the Hailes Fruit Farm cafe. They offer a range of hot and cold snacks and beverages. On shoot days they run a shooters special where you can enjoy a hot drink and bacon bap for £5.00.
A person may, without holding a shot gun certificate, use a shot gun at a time and place approved for shooting at artificial targets by the chief officer of police for the area in which that place is situated.
